UBC: Hey Rob, how long have you been sailing for?
Rob: I've been in the club for about three years, but sailed a little bit before that.

UBC: Was your previous sailing all done in the fine waters of English Bay?
Rob: No, I sailed a little bit back in Ontario.

UBC: Do you go to UBC?
Rob: No, I studied computer engineering at Queen's University in Kingston. Now I work for Telus.

UBC: Have you ever worked on anything interesting?
Rob: Yeah, I'm acutally responsible for the fact that you can talk on your cell phone while riding the train here in Vancouver.

UBC: Well thanks for that! What sort of stuff do you do for Telus?
Rob: Mainly off-shoring and out-sourcing...

UBC: What would you say is the future of telecommunications?
Rob: The future of telecommunications..it's in the clouds.
